The story of Marlon Lundgren Garcia is one of reinvention — from a top Swedish basketball prospect, through homelessness in New York, to a Twitch Partner, model, Netflix cast member and Nike athlete. Three chapters, one relentless belief.
Roots & the Court
Born September 7, 2001 in Malmö, Sweden, Marlon grew up biracial and multicultural — Scandinavian, Spanish and Belgian roots on one side, Nigerian heritage on the other. Years later a DNA reveal (“31.9% West African”) would go viral, but the mix was always part of his identity.
Basketball came first. He excelled in Swedish leagues — earning MVP honors and top-5 national rankings — before crossing the Atlantic to play college ball as a 6'5" guard at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington. A lifelong football (soccer) fan, he carried an athlete's discipline that still defines him today.
The Climb
Chasing bigger dreams, Marlon landed in New York City — where he experienced homelessness while still streaming. Creator Nick Nayersina (Lacy) helped him secure a visa and a fresh start in the U.S. On January 18, 2024 he went live on Twitch, and everything changed.
Authentic IRL streams, Just Chatting marathons and collabs with FaZe Clan members made him one of the platform's fastest risers, with faith a constant theme. He went viral again and again — the “fooled the internet” break, getting Gorilla Glue in his eye live (2025), and Natalie Portman's son FaceTiming his mom mid-stream (covered by Good Morning America).
He crossed into high fashion too — the first streamer to walk Paris (June 2025) and London (Sept 2025) Fashion Weeks — cameo'd in Mariah Carey's “Type Dangerous,” and was profiled by Interview Magazine.
CORE, Nike & Beyond
In March 2026 he co-founded CORE Boys with Stable Ronaldo, JasonTheWeen, Lacy and Silky, moving into a reported $20M Los Angeles content house — famously swatted live on day one. He joined Netflix's Inside (Sidemen) Season 3, played the 2026 Sidemen Charity Match, and didn't hold back on how the show was edited.
On June 8, 2026 he signed a long-term deal with Nike — only the second streamer ever after Kai Cenat — and days later got engaged to longtime partner Chanida Natalie. Summer 2026 brought Streamer University and State Farm's Gamerhood Season 5 (premiering July 31) against iShowSpeed and more.
